The Traditional Anglican Communion (TAC) is a worldwide association of Continuing Orthodox Anglican Churches working to promote the Catholic Faith as the Anglican Church has received it, and to resist the secularization of the Church.
The TAC Churches comprise almost 500,000 members and are to be found in Africa, Australia, the Torres Strait, Canada, Central and South America, England, Ireland, India, Pakistan, Japan and the United States of America.
We are not in communion with the Archbishop of Canterbury and have no affiliation with the Anglican Church of Australia, but we hope that they will act on the recommendation of the 1998 Lambeth Conference for them to build bridges with all who “own the Anglican way”.
The English, American and Australian Churches have entered a Covenant of Communion with Forward in Faith International, and the Australian Church is in communion with the Anglican Diocese of The Murray.
The TAC is governed by an International College of Bishops. Prior to his consecration, each bishop promises to acknowledge that the Scriptures contain all things necessary for salvation; to believe and transmit the historic teaching of the Church contained in the Nicene Creed and the Seven Councils of the Early Church; to preserve the apostolic ministry of bishops, priests and deacons as that ministry has been known since the earliest times, and to administer all the Sacraments of the Church. All TAC personnel who hold an official position are subject to a rigorous Professional Standards Policy.
The TAC is a living community within the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church, contending earnestly for the Faith once delivered to the Saints in its Anglican form, which it believes is a true and valid expression of that Faith. The mission of the TAC is to recall Anglicanism to its heritage, to heal the divisions caused by departures from that Faith, and to build a vibrant Church for the future, based on a powerful local leadership.

In Western Australia, all our parishes are currently in the metropolitan area of Perth but, under God’s guidance, we would like to provide whatever ministry we can to Traditional Anglicans wherever they may be.
