THE PARISH PRIEST

Fr Brian & Miems Tee
Fr Brian’s accent still sometimes betrays him as a descendant of one of the Settlers from Britain who emigrated to South Africa in 1819.
He has a legal background and in 1981 he and his family migrated from South Africa to Australia where they settled in Perth. He practised law in the city until the end of 2005 when he retired.
In 2004, having fulfilled all the requirements of the Australian Catholic University, he received the award Master of Arts (Theology).
He was priested on 12 December 2004 by Archbishop John Hepworth, the Primate of the Traditional Anglican Communion, and founded the parishes of St Peter and St Paul on 1 January 2005.
He is fortunate in that his ministry is fully supported by his wife, Miems, whom he married in 1967.
Please contact Fr Brian for baptisms, weddings, funerals, etc.
THE PARISH COUNCIL
The Parish Council of a parish usually consists of those parishioners who are elected at the Annual General Meeting of parishioners to administer the temporal affairs of the parish, until the next Annual General Meeting. The Parish Priest is ex officio the Chairman of the Council.
In view of the fact that we are still rather small in numbers, our parish has decided that all parishioners are members of the Parish Council and we meet over a cup of tea whenever it is necessary to do so.
